I am starting an educational page for photographers!

I have been passionate about teaching photography for a long time, but to be honest, life hasn't really lined up for me to do so until now and I just can NOT wait any longer. I am ready to share what I know with rising photographers who want to take great photos and turn their hobby into a business. I have a lot planned for this year, so hold on tight. I am certain there is something for you to learn here. I am going to start at the beginning and things will build on top of each other. It's going to be great!

I want to share how you can get really good at taking photos.

This means more than just composition. This also means how to talk to clients. Communicating and praising your people is huge. I going to teach you basics about your camera. I also want to show you ways you can be more creative and meaningful as you compose your photos.

I want to show you what you need to do to turn your hobby into a business.

It does take guts, but I know if you truly want to be a photographer, you are going to follow the steps it takes to build your confidence and start a photography business. I will share some basic things that have really helped me build that confidence. I also want to share what I have done that has helped me feel way more organized in my business and with my clients.

Maybe you are already trying to grow a business, but you feel stuck.

This is for you too, my friend. I have been there and was there for years. It has taken me years to mostly learn on my own, how I want my business to function. There have been a few other photographers out there that have definitely helped me along the way and shown me different ideas about business. And for that I am grateful. However, there are also many photographers out there that seem to think you can't have a photography business the way you want it and that there is basically only one way. I have learned that is NOT true.

Below is the list of things I plan to cover this year.

  • How to use your camera, the basics
  • How to compose a great photo
  • We are going to talk about LIGHTING
  • Dig deeper with perspectives
  • Some of my basic photo editing tips
  • Organizing photos (this may seem simple, but is really important if you are running a business)
  • Client galleries and websites
  • Social Media and blogging
  • Session guides and posing guides

WOW! It is going to be a packed year, but not to worry. I am only touching on one of these a month. Also, notice these topics are in the order they are for a reason. This order is going to allow your skills to start building on top of each other. I am so excited for you to join me on this adventure. Will you join me? Below you can join my newsletter, just for photographers.
