How long does a senior photo session take?

Your senior session can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes. This mostly depends on outfit changes and location(s). If your original location is close enough to the Ellensburg High School, we can definitely snag a few photos there as well. Especially, if you are involved in sports, you may enjoy photos on the track, football, soccer field, etc. Maybe we head over to CWU tennis courts if you play tennis.


How early should I book my senior photo session?

I highly recommend booking your senior photos your junior year. This gives us plenty of time to schedule and plan your session. Booking your session during your junior year will also give you the peace of mind, knowing that such a special event is scheduled and pretty much in the hands of your photographer.


What is the best time of year for senior photos?

Anytime in the summer before your senior year is perfect for senior photos. Early fall is nice too, but it's best to get a head start on them and not leave yearbook due dates a concern. The warmer months often gives us more opportunity to personalize your senior photos with any hobbies you may have. For example, let's go to an ice cream shop, jump in a lake, more flowers in bloom, etc.


Can I bring any props?

Most certainly! I've had seniors bring sports clothes, instruments, cap and gown, etc. Let's definitely make this a session that hold the memories of your senior year. If that means keeping it simple with just you and a few outfit changes, that's perfect too.


How many outfits should I plan on?

I would love it if you planned to have 3 outfit changes. Having a variety is ideal as well. Think about the clothes you love to wear and make you feel amazing. For girls I recommend once of your outfit changes be a dress or skirt, something a little more dressy. Definitely stay within your style, but let's add some variety to those outfits. Layers are also a great way to create varied as well. Sweaters, vests, boots, tennis shoes, etc. Even if you don't really wear make-up, I do recommend girls wearing a little mascara to give your eyes an extra pop!


When should we expect our photos delivered?

I am very consistent on delivering photo galleries between 2-4 weeks. Usually, 2-3 weeks, but it occasionally runs into a fourth week, so we'll go with that. :)
