Find something flowy and comfortable. You are pregnant after all. You should be comfortable and a dress should allow you to be. When should I book maternity photos?

If you are having a regular pregnancy, planning a maternity photo session three to six weeks before your due date is best. Once you have decided on a photographer, contact them during your second trimester. When you book your maternity session, you will also want to book your newborn session.

Posing

When it comes to posing, remember you have hired a photographer, so trust them. Hopefully, one reason you chose your photographer was because you trust them and love the poses and photos they have produced.

Who should be at the photo session?

This is something you should think about. Is this something you want to have just you? It is a special time to share with your husband and have him in some of the photos as well. Some of my clients made turned their session into a family session and included the whole crew. This is really a decision you have to make. All are beautiful and meaningful.

Cherish this moment

I really hope you plan a maternity photo session. While in the moment of being pregnant it can seem uncomfortable and rough.
