During the winter holidays, many of us have the wonderful opportunity to gather with our cherished family members. You are aware of how chilly it gets outside here in Ellensburg! If you find that your family is too big to comfortably fit in your home for a session, here are some helpful tips to prepare and factors to consider.
Let's start with layers
If you've chosen a cute sweater, why not pair it with a long sleeve underneath? It'll add an extra layer of warmth and style. And hey, how about having the kids wear long johns under their clothes? It's a cozy option for those chilly days! If you have some nice coats, don't hesitate to wear them during the session. Coats can not only keep you warm, but also add an extra touch of elegance to your photos. Oh, and blankets! They can be absolutely beautiful in pictures. Imagine snuggling your child in a cozy blanket, adding texture and warmth to your winter family photos. If you don't have one, not to worry! I have a few blankets that I can bring along, just let me know. Remember, if the kids are cold, it can take away from the fun and make the session a bit stressful.
